Flat pack furniture can be generic and ill-fitting for your space. I can make alterations to create a unique piece just for you, for example by creating a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, or customising a piece by installing feet, handles etc.

As a handyman, I take pride in my ability to complete a variety of tasks to a high standard, however some jobs will require a specialist tradesperson – I’ll be open with you if I think that would be best.
Charges – Labour and Materials
I charge a flat rate or £35 for the first hour, then £17.50 for every half-hour or part thereof. Materials and parts are charged in addition to this, alternatively you can source them yourself prior to the job. There is a minimum charge of one hour.
Payment
A full invoice of labour and materials is created at the end of each job. Payment by cash or card on completion of the job is preferred. Payment by bank transfer is also accepted and should be made within 7 working day of receiving the invoice.
Estimates
As there is a minimum charge, I am often able to provide an estimate for routine jobs by email or phone. Estimates are only as accurate as the descriptions provided – undisclosed elements may increase the time required to complete a job.
For larger tasks I am happy to offer a free home-visit to provide a quote.
Waste Disposal
Stirling Council’s trade waste disposal charges are prohibitively expensive for a small business such as mine. I am therefore unable to include waste disposal as part of my service. I can suggest a private waste disposal contractor or leave it tidily on-site for disposal by the customer.
